To be honest, I was a little on the fence about this one. I don't usually go for full-on redneck game fiction. There's amusing dialogue, and I loved the mecha-raccoon. I guess maybe I just wasn't in the proper frame of mind or something. I kept getting distracted. When I paid attention to the story though, I did enjoy it, even if it was slightly simplistic. The writing and narration are both excellent. Can't complain when the whole series is currently FREE (as of 2/15/25) on Audible.
