Book Review: Curse on the Land

I absolutely LOVED book #1, so I had to keep going. This one was also good, but only about 80% as good as the first one. Why? I just loved the way book one felt close to home. In book two, Nell joins a paranormal crime-solving government agency, and it doesn't have the same ... personality to it. It's still good, but the character building lacks wow factor.
